First Mini Art Quilt

Last week, I finished my first mini art quilt. I've missed quilting, but I really didn't want to take on a big project. This one is pretty small (8.5 X 9.25 inches), and almost entirely handsewn. Let me know what you think!

BTW, it's available in my Etsy shop...

I saw this on flicker, and I really think it is lovely! Hope you do more!

I really like this ... colors, stitching accents, geometry.

Do you think it satisfies the quilting urge? I've been reluctant to take on another full-size quilt project, but I do miss it...

Thank you for your kind comments! And yes, this definitely satisfies the quilting urge! I tend to get overwhelmed with big projects, so this one was perfect for me! You should give it a try!

I really like it but I could not have made it myself because IT'S NOT SYMMETRICAL!!! And that makes me twitch sometimes.

I like it. But I don't see how you did it. If I had tried to lay out those pieces, they would have kept leaning towards symmetry.

Dear Robyn--

The quilt is a lovely piece of art. However, you should make more kitty ponchos. I bet there are plenty of cats out in cat land who would pay big bucks to wear your work.
