Hand-Embroidered Onesies!

My dear friend Maria is expecting her second child, a baby girl. She sent me some onesies to embroider for her, and here's what I have so far!

I used Sublime Stitching patterns, which are so very easy to use AND cute! I have 5 more onesies to go, so I'll be sure to share them here and/or on my Flickr page!
By the way, today is Austin's (Maria's firstborn) birthday. HAPPY 3rd BIRTHDAY, AUSTIN!

Do you cover the back of the embroidery with something or just leave it as is? So cute!

Mymsie ~ I used a very soft and lightweight iron-on interfacing on the reverse side. That way, there wouldn't be any itchy threads bothering the baby!

Sublime Stitches is the cutest! I love the Kurt Halsey birds! I also found the best wholesale onesies at www.kidsblanks.com! They have the greatest quality at the best prices and they have colors I can't find anywhere else!

I'd like to do some similar onesies for my baby but have had a hard time sewing on that type of cotton. Did you use any interfacing or stabilizer?
